Where is your store? What are your hours? Cattail Run LLC is an online only retailer. We do not have a show room. Local purchasers are welcome pick up their orders in Nevada, IA. See Shipping Information for more details.
Why do some of your products say "Add To Cart For Low Price"? Some manufacturers enforce minimum advertised pricing (MAP). This means they limit the price they allow their products to be advertised at, which includes listing on web sites and e-mail advertisements. Failure to comply with MAP may result in the loss of products from that manufacturer. If a product indicates "Add To Cart For Low Price", that means we are selling the item for less than MAP. Adding the item to your cart allows you to see the correct selling price. You can remove the item from your cart if you do not wish to purchase it.
I signed up for your e-mail specials but I have not received any messages yet. We at Cattail Run LLC believe in your privacy. We deliberately limit our e-mail campaigns only to major sales events, which are typical around major U.S. Holidays. We frequently put single items on sale. Look in the SPECIALS category to check for any current sales.

I tried to add x items to my cart, but it only added y. Our inventory is active. You cannot add more items to your cart than we have in stock. We generally do not accept back orders.
The item I added to my cart was gone when I went to check out. Adding items to your cart does not reserve them. Someone else purchased the last item before you checked out.
The item I want shows purchase limits due to current demand. During times of greater demand, items tend to sell out fast due to large individual orders. In order to provide an opportunity for as many customers as possible to purchase the product, we may place purchase limits on the item. Once demand returns to normal, we will remove these limits.
The item I want is out. When will you get more? The speed at which we are able to replenish our stock is affected by numerous influences. For example, whether our suppliers have the item in stock, the time it takes them to ship, and anything that may affect the speed of the shipment, such as weather or holidays. We recommend you add your e-mail to the "Notify Me" list to be automatically e-mailed when the item is back in stock.
The item description says "black anodized" but looks gray in the photo. The photos may sometimes be slightly over-exposed, which causes them to look lighter than they actually appear. This helps to show more detail on the item.
Some of the reviews say verified buyer and some don't. Why? When a customer writes a review, the system compares the e-mail address submitted with the review with that of orders of the item. If the reviewer's email matches an order of that item, it displays verified buyer. In the event verified buyer is not displayed, this can mean the customer used a different e-mail address with the review than was used on their order. The review system is open to anyone who wishes to take advantage of the opportunity to express an opinion on the product.
I'm an FFL. Can you add my business to your FFL list? Yes. Use the Contact Us page or send an e-mail to email@example.com and include your business information and a copy of your FFL. There is absolutely no fee for this and is offered as a courtesy to customers.
